How to distinguish polyester and nylon materials by burning
Polyester: easy to ignite, melts when it is near the flame, emits black smoke when burned, showing a yellow flame, emitting an aromatic smell, the ashes after burning are dark brown lumps, which can be crushed with fingers.
Nylon: Near the flame, it quickly curls and melts into a white jelly. There is no flame when burning. It is difficult to continue burning without the flame. It emits a celery smell. After cooling, it is a light brown melt and is not easy to twist.
